Grows like a weed…
My sweet husband has the most bizarre hair ever seen on a human head. It sticks straight out from his head, grows at least a foot a month and cannot be tamed without the use of tar or some other ridiculously strong and sticky substance. Just guess who takes longer to get ready in the morning? To be fair, this probably has something to do with the gravity challenging style he creates. Recently, a few old pictures have been sent from some well-meaning friends.
Paul said “You look like Wolverine.”
Funny, cause a woman at church recently said “Has anybody ever told you, you look like that guy from X-Men?”
From Tommy: If it makes you feel better we’ll trim it down in Photo Shop and give you a receding hairline with gray hairs mixed in.
In all honesty, the style was trendy…at the time. But ever since marrying me and my mad scissor skills, he has had to endure the bi-monthly torture session known as the “hour-long haircut in the freezing cold laundry room.” (Cut me some slack, I’m still learning)
I’m writing this at work (the boss is gone again!), so I don’t have a picture of his newly transformed mop but keep your eyes out for it and in the meantime just enjoy all the handsome pictures of him on our Flickr page.
p.s. I really do love my husband to death and I promise to stop picking on him eventually.

Awesome. I seriously don’t know what I was thinking all those years. Actually, I thought you all were the crazy ones, but man…that dew was whack.

I’m just happy you have hair! I know lots of guys your age who are baldies! I love every bit of you, including the hair but I must say, I do like the tame version thanks to Whitten. You 2 are a pair!

The first time Whittney brought him home to meet us, we knew he was a keeper because his hair dusted our 15 foot ceilings, ceiling fans, chandiliers…………what a guy! ‘Love ya Brett

His hair is classic. That’s how I picture him in my mind. That is, when I am not picturing him and Jake in dresses when they were little. That is a hard image to shake

Whitt I am actually jealous! You have your own regenerating chia pet… cutting husbands hair is hard work…..it was really scary the first time. For both of us. That hair do is actually much better than “the crack” he sported in 6th grade!!

Thanks Kristin, but Brandon Burt sported the “crack,” I never did.
Scary? Yeah…ask Whittney about the second time she cut my hair and forgot the guard on the electric shears…

That is so funny! I always thought it was super stylin’ though. I wish my hair would grow that fast! Why can’t I picture what “the crack” hairdo is??

Another beautiful day in paradise, eh?, to be honest I did not know that topics like had anything to do with Picture Of Long Straight Hair Style (which is what I was searching on). I found the article interesting though.
